After two weeks of silence, we are back at it again!
A lot has happened in the past two weeks, lets see what’s happened, what’s going to happen, and what other news we have for our community.
First off, we have moved our base of operations. This is what caused our two week lapse in communication. We had a lot going on as we got set up and got going again. Due to all this work, we are a little behind on development. But, since we are still waiting for the Ubuntu 20.04 release for Drauger OS 7.5.1 Zombi, it is of little consequence on the Drauger OS release cycle.
Some other things that have happened this week are wide reaching and various. Our website was down for a week while we (somewhat ironically) moved servers for more stability and reliability. We have made progress in the development of our in house system installer, and fixed a number of bugs. We have converted more of mrai to C++, and have begun working on steam-login-session to convert parts of it to C++ as well.
At our new HQ we have internet which is many times faster. So, we uploaded an updated ISO for Drauger OS 7.4.1, and updates to our apt repo will go much faster. If you are already running Drauger OS 7.4.1, you don’t need to re-install from this new ISO. Just make sure you are up-to-date by running the following commands in a terminal:
sudo apt update sudo apt dist-upgrade
Starting this week, we will be returning to our normal schedule of blog posts on Monday and podcasts on Wednesday.
